First blog post of 2010.
While camping in Joshua tree over New Years, I made this marginally successful night time lapse with a D200 and a manual focus 50mm f/1.8… (393 shots were captured at f/2.8, ISO 800, and a 10 second shutter speed, shots were captured back-to-back, and the video was created with 10 FPS playback. So essentially, this is a little over an hour’s worth of time compressed into 39 seconds. Enjoy!
I hope to improve on this idea dramatically someday soon. I’d like 2010 to be a year of more dramatic outdoor photography!
